Meghan Markle is going to have a stunner of a wedding dress — if her engagement coat is any indication

Markle is due to become the newest duchess in the British royal family, with the royals' Clarence House announcing Monday that she and Prince Harry are officially engaged.

The couple celebrated the happy news with a press conference in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, where Markle emerged in a bridal white coat to reveal her engagement ring to the cameras.

Markle chose a belted jacket from Line the Label, a Canadian brand favored by celebrities for knitwear and coats, which she paired with a green dress from the Italian label PAROSH.

She also wore a favorite pair of nude suede Aquazzura pumps, which she previously wore to Canada's One Young World Summit in fall 2016.

Speaking to press in the garden, Harry revealed that he designed the ring, which was made by the jeweler Cleave and Company. Set on a gold band, the ring features three diamonds, one from Botswana (the country where he vacationed with Markle) and two from the personal collection of his mother, Princess Diana.

Per the palace's announcement, the couple got engaged in London earlier this month and are planning their wedding for spring 2018.
