(KCEN) - American Eagle, which flies out of Waco Regional Airport, will be doing so for the next 3 years.

The airline's parent company says it would continue to offer daily departures and arrivals at Waco Regional Airport, as part of an agreement with Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott to drop his opposition to the merger of American Airlines and U.S. Airways.

In mid-August, Texas and several other states agreed to file an anti-trust lawsuit to block the merger.
