(KCEN) -- The Walmart in Harker Heights is back open after an early morning bomb threat.

Harker Height Police got a call between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday that there was a bomb somewhere inside the store just off highway 190.

The threat didn't target any specific area of the store or anyone inside.

The PD and the Fort Hood bomb squad both responded, sending bomb-sniffing dogs through the parking lot and store, but didn't turn up anything suspicious.

More than two dozen employees were asked to leave the store, but were let back in by around 5:15 a.m., when the store reopened.

Police describe the caller only as male, and declined to give any more details, but Sgt. Roosevelt Wilson with Harker Heights PD said they have a good idea who it might have been.

The investigation will continue throughout the day. Stay with KCEN HD News for updates.
