The Bell County Young Lawyer's Association (BCYLA) is holding a professional clothing drive during May to help those who do not have a suitable wardrobe for interviews or the workplace.

"A lot of people don't have the finances to create a wardrobe or have the proper attire to go on interviews," Ashley Clapper, BCYLA Immediate Past President, said. "So we figured as a group we would hold a professional clothing drive."

For all of May, the BCYLA has collected suits, ties, shoes, and accessories in its clothing drive.

Dressing properly for an interview is a crucial part of the interview process that many young adults do not know how to do, Clapper told Channel Six. The BCYLA looks to fix this issue with the clothing drive. The organization will provide workplace appropriate attire to those who do not have the resources to get some.

All donations can be made from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the district clerk's office and county attorney's office in the Bell County Courthouse, located at 101 W Central Ave in Belton.
