Killeen Police arrest murder suspect wanted by authorities in Ohio

KPD helped nab a wanted murder suspect from Ohio.

Killeen Police Detectives worked with the Waco-based U.S. Marshal's Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force to arrest a murder suspect who was wanted by police in Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus Police first asked for KPD's help on Feb. 22 after their investigation determined he was likely in the Killeen area.

Around 2:50 p.m. on Feb. 23, detectives and U.S. Marshals located the suspect, Allante J. Talley, 25, of Columbus, at a residence in the 1600 block of Fairview Drive in Killeen. Talley was taken into custody without incident.

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, Talley was being held in the Bell County Jail without bond.
