A bicyclist who pulled out in front of a vehicle was struck just before 2:30 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 11th Street and West Adams Avenue, according to police.

The male bicyclist was riding east on the sidewalk when he rode in front of the car, which was stopped at a stop sign, police said. The driver stayed and cooperated fully with police, who said no charges would be filed.

The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple, according to police.

One lane of westbound traffic was briefly shut down on West Adams Avenue, while first responders were on scene. The lane has since been reopened.
