A Belton man was arrested Saturday after being suspected of breaking into a Temple home.
Officials said the Bell County Sheriff’s department was dispatched at approximately 3 a.m. to Brown Lane in reference to a burglary of habitation that had just occurred.
Shawn Devine, 36, allegedly gained entrance into the home through a doggy door.
When deputies arrived to the scene, they found a suspect that matched the description given by the caller. A controlled substance were found when deputies searched the suspect.
Devine is charged with burglary of a habitation intent to commit felony. His bone is set at $200,000 and a controlled substance bond set $35,000.
