If you don't ride a horse in Texas is that weird? For morning reporter Jamie Kennedy he didn't wait to hear the answer and found just the place to help him learn the ways of the cowboy. Highlander Ranch at McLennan Community College sits on 200 acres of land and has 42 horses for people of all riding levels.

During the summer and winter Highlander Ranch has camps for kids giving them hands-on experince in all aspects of horsemanship, along with daily riding and are paired with their own horse for the duration of the camp.

The ranch offers a great escape from the rat race and there is definitely a gratification only riding can bring.
