An Ellison High School student hit by a car in August suffered a set back that sent her back to the hospital.

According to the site set up for donations, Morgan Doremus, came down with a fever over the weekend of October 8th. It says she had brain swelling and she was sent back to Baylor, Scott and White Hospital.

Doremus was struck by a Nissan Cube while crossing Trimmier Road in front of the school on August 24th.

The 15-year-old had been making progress and was in rehab as of September 27th.

Doremus has already undergone emergency brain surgery.

Morgan's friends and family have set up an online donation page to help with her medical expenses.
