This week the best in class animals ranging from bovine to swine will take center stage at the McLennan County JR Livestock Show.

Animals are judged on their structure, muscle, will they make good breeders, and the quality of their meat. Over 600 kids will take part in the show and have the chance to win scholarships as well as sell their animals.

Not only is it about the animals, kids will get the chance to exhibit their cooking skills in the baking competition and their craft skills in the agriculture mechanics section.

The show runs from February 6 to the 9. For all information click here.
