FREEPORT, Texas -- A person of interest, 27-year-old Antoine Allen Gorman, is being questioned by police in the death of a 7-week old boy.

Gorman was arrested on Friday on Child Endangerment warrants.

The Freeport Police Department said Gorman was babysitting the infant at the time. We're told the baby was injured and later died at the hospital.

Police were called to the Villa Brazos apartments around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday about the two-month-old not breathing.

Police say Gorman, who is the boyfriend of the child's mother, was also watching two other children at the time.

Police also say Gorman goes by the name Luther Antoine Jefferson. He is 5'10 and weighs 150 pounds. There were three warrants out for his arrest on three counts of Abandoning or Endangering a Child.

Early Wednesday morning police released several photos of Gorman from Facebook in hopes that someone would know his whereabouts.

Police say additional charges are likely after an autopsy is carried out on the deceased infant.

The three current warrants each have a $250,000 bond.
