A Waco man suspected of robbing a Chase bank inside a Bellmead Walmart Thursday morning has been arrested.

Officials said they received a report about the robbery around 10:37 a.m. along with a description of the suspect.

Bank employees told officers the suspect, who was identified as 63-year-old William Juan Bridgewater, presented them with hand-written note stating: “This is a Robbery give me all your money.” Police said the employees gave him the money, and he left the scene.

When officers arrived, they apprehended Bridgewater. No weapons were found on him, however, $7,004 stolen from the robbery was in his possession, according to police.

Bellmead Police notified the FBI to assist in pursuing federal charges against the suspect.
