Unlike the movie of the same name, the appaloosa horses on show this weekend will be showing off their calm and well mannered demeanor, trying to win their respective competition for their riders.
The breed is well known for its spotted coat and calm manner, and this weekend will be the Texas Appaloosa Horse Club's first competition of the year.
Young and old will compete in a variety of heats to prove, their control, of their horse, is superior to the other riders.
The show runs from February 23 to the 25 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco and welcomes everyone out to see the horses up close in the stables, and the variety of riders and different events on show.
