(KXAN) - The heavy rain fall and flooding early Sunday morning kept Travis County rescue crews busy with several rescue calls.

One man had to be rescued from the roof of his car after he got stranded in high water on Gregg Lane in Eastern Travis County.

Crews then rescued 6 people from their cars in high, fast moving water on FM 973 near the 130 toll road.

There were no injuries reported in any of the overnight rescues.

The City of Austin also reported several road closures due to flooding. About 10 roads were closed in the early Sunday morning hours, most of them in North Austin.
