(KCEN) -- A new wave of veterans storms the World War II Memorial in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

The group refuses to let barricades keep them from honoring the fallen.

The vets came all the way from Ohio, Kansas and Missouri.

They arrived at the memorial one day after another group ignored the barricades and went in.

Park police did not prevent the first group from entering, nor did they interfere with Wednesday's group.
