Here's how to watch McGregor native Katie Uhlaender compete in the Olympics

McGregor native Katie Uhlaender placed 8th in her first heat with a time of 52.33 and 13th in her second heat with a time of 52.40. She competes again on Saturday.

Uhlaender is the first American to compete in the skeleton in four different Winter Olympics. She placed fourth in Sochi in 2014.

Her third run is scheduled for 5:20 a.m. CST Saturday, and the fourth (medal run) for the women's skeleton competitors is expected to happen at 6:30 a.m. CST.

As a teenager, Uhlaender ran track and played baseball at McGregor High School.

Family, friends and supporters will watch her third heat inside the Coffee Shop Cafe located at 1005 W. McGregor Dr. in McGregor.
