Belton, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football player Haston Adams has been named to the Preseason All-America Team released on Tuesday (August 1st). Adams was a First Team All-American selection.

Adams, a senior defensive tackle from Beckville High School, was a Second Team All-American last season after posting 53 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks last season. He also returned two fumbles for touchdowns. Adams added First Team All-South Region and First Team American Southwest Conference All-Conference honors last season. The Cru is the defending NCAA Division III National Champion after topping Wisconsin-Oshkosh 10-7 in Stagg Bowl XLIV last December. UMHB players will report August 12th and the Cru will kick off the 2017 season against Sul Ross State on September 9th at Crusader Stadium.
