TEMPLE, Texas — Heads up Temple drivers! There are a few road closures starting next Monday that you should know about.

First, a portion of Wendland Road will be closed for about two months starting on Jan. 24, according to a news release. The closure will begin on the south side of the intersection at Wendland and Moores Mill Roads.

This is part of the ongoing outer loop construction, a multi-phase project designed to connect I-35 in north and south Temple.

Also on Jan. 24, there will be a three-day partial road closure on Fourth Street to the Avenue A intersection for utility relocation, officials said in a news release.

This closure is related to the Fourth Street parking garage construction project in Downtown Temple.

The Central Avenue partial road closure will not be affected.
