(WVVA-NBC) A West Virginia family says frequent bullying lead to the suicide of a third grade boy.
Jackson Grubb, 9-years-old, took his own life Saturday.
"I was spending time with him, trying to get it out of him. But Jack's the type that holds things in and I couldn't get to him," said Grubb's grandmother and guardian, Betsy Baber.
Baber had noticed a change in her grandson a couple weeks ago. In the past, she said Jackson had fought back against schoolyard bullies with humor and even on occasion with his fists, but the fight in her grandson had disappeared in recent weeks.
