(KXAN) - Austin Police said a car crashed into a South Austin home Saturday morning, leaving two people critically injured.
Austin Fire officials said the car ran a stoplight and slammed into a home in the 5700 block of Glen Meadow Drive around 11 a.m. Saturday. The car then ended up in the backyard, critically injuring two people.
One of the two injured adults was holding a 1-year-old baby at the time but police said the baby was not injured in the crash.
Police officials said the driver then fled the scene but was later arrested in the area.
