Copperas Cove police seek aggravated robbery suspect

COPPERAS COVE - Copperas Cove Police are searching for a man wanted for aggravated robbery, and they are asking for the public's help finding him.

The suspect is Corey Latrell Southard, 22. He is described as a black man, roughly 5-foot-10, and weighing 162 pounds.

Copperas Cove Police Sgt. Martin Ruiz said Southard was involved in a robbery at the Copperas Hills Food Mart on West Avenue E on March 20. At the time, officers said he brandished a handgun, demanded money from the clerk and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is also believed to have committed another robbery in Killeen the same night, police said.
