DALLAS COUNTY - Baylor’s former assistant athletic director has dropped a petition that would have allowed him to get a clear picture of why he was fired as a result of the school’s sexual assault scandal.
Tom Hill was terminated by Baylor when scandal broke and he demanded to know why. Hill, who had been with Baylor for 28 years also asked for information and documents from Pepper Hamilton, the law firm that investigated Baylor’s mishandling of sexual assaults.
Many of those assaults were allegedly done by football players under hill’s oversight.
Hill refused a $34,373 payment proposed by Baylor, which required him to fully release Baylor, sign a confidentiality agreement, and not speak poorly of the university.
