(KCEN) -- Questions still surround the discovery of two human skeletal remains found in Hewitt over the weekend.
Right now detectives are investigating this as a possible homicide and are looking into missing person cases in McLennan County.
The remains were found near the 100 block of bridal trail.
The woods where the remains were found will continue to be blocked off for several days.
Detectives were out again Monday morning and on Thursday they plan on bringing in cadaver dogs from Austin.
Those dogs and detectives will comb through the scene again to see if there was anything they missed.
We're told the two skeletal remains were both above ground, but those dogs will able to tell if anything has been buried out here.
Right now the remains are in Dallas for forensic testing.
Police do not know their ages or gender, but did say there was other evidence besides the bones they were able to gather over the weekend.
