Killeen Woman Arrested For Child Custody Interference

(KCEN) -- On Sept. 11, Bell County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Dominica Guerra Newcomb Theriot, 36, of Killeen for interfering with child custody.

Bryant Patrick Newcomb of Killeen reported to the Sheriff's Department that he had been awarded custody of his daughter by a Bell County District Court. In this agreement, Theriot, the mother, was allowed to keep the child for the summer.

At the end of August, Theriot had failed to return the child to the father and failed to enroll the child in school. Mr. Newcomb reported the child as missing.

The Bell County District Attorney Office charged Theriot with Interference with Child Custody and an arrest warrant was issued.

On Wednesday Sept. 11, deputies located Theriot and the missing child at an address on Denmans Loop in Belton.

Theriot was placed in the Bell County Jail and the child was returned to her father. Theriot's bond was set at $100,000.
