Around Central Texas Week of Nov. 14th

Preview of events happening around Central Texas during the week of November 14th, 2016.

Monday, November 14th: Golden Corral hosts Military Appreciation Night. Any person who has served in the military, retirees, veterans, active duty national guard, or reserves will be given a FREE thank you meal. Event runs from 5PM to 9PM.

Tuesday, November 15th: Emmy award-winning actor Hal Holbrook in Mark Twain Tonight! at Waco Hall. Event starts at 8PM and tickets range from $10 to $50.

Wednesday, November 16th: Carleen Bright Arboretum Pavilion hosts Lunch with the Masters. The FREE horticulture seminar will feature Master Gardener Pat Goaley. Event runs from noon to 2PM.

Thursday, November 17th: Spice Village in Waco is opening its doors after-hours to show appreciation for its customers in the 6th Annual Let the Holidays Sparkle.

Friday, November 18th: Annual Lighting of Downtown. There will be pictures with Santa, a bounce house, FREE hot chocolate and cookies and a FREE showing of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Event begins at 6PM.

Saturday, November 19th: 11th Annual Central Texas Turkey Trot. It's a 5K and 10K run through Cameron Park. Proceeds benefit The Cove. Event begins at 8AM.

Sunday, November 20th: Catch LA-based singer and guitarist Vanessa Silberman at Dichotomy Coffee and Spirits in Waco beginning at 7PM.
