Around Central Texas Week of Oct. 31st

Preview of events happening around Central Texas for the week of October 31st.

Monday, October 31st: Haunted Wolf Hollow at 1019 N. 34th St. in Waco is a backyard haunted house dedicated to raising money for finding a cure to breast cancer. It's only open on Halloween, entrance is $2 per person. 

Tuesday, November 1st: The women's Baylor Bears basketball team takes on Emporia State in Waco at 7PM.

Wednesday, November 2nd: Local area acoustic singer/songwriter Joel Wood plays at MacDaddy's Pub on Elm Mott Texas. The show is FREE to the public and starts at 7PM.

Thursday, November 3rd: Carleen Bright Arboretum hosts Sip 'N Shop for you to enjoy happy hour refreshments, shopping, and information from over 30 local businesses. Event is FREE and runs from 4PM to 8 PM.

Friday, November 4th: First day of glassblowing ornaments at Stanton Studios in Waco. Event runs every Friday and Saturday in November and December up until the weekend before Christmas. Ornaments are $35 each. Contact Stanton Studios to book your appointment

Saturday, November 5th: 15th Annual Marine Corps Leatherneck Run. The 5K run kicks off the annual Toys for Tots Drive. It begins at 8AM at the suspension bridge in Waco and costs $35 to participate.

Sunday, November 6th: 54th Annual McLennan County Library Book Sale at the Extraco Events Center. Sale includes thousands of books of ever genre. It runs from noon to 6PM and costs $5 for adults and children 12 and under are FREE.
