Arrest made in the murder of son of Waco ISD principal

An Arkansas man is behind bars and charged with the murder of the son of Waco high School Principal, Ed Love

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARK - An arrest has been made in connection to the murder of the son of a Waco High School Principal Ed Love.

According to the school district, 27-year-old Kenneth love, was killed Sunday afternoon in Arkansas.

The suspect, Terrio Williams, 34 was arrested was charged with second degree murder.

Channel 6's sister station KTHV reports Love was stabbed and was found bleeding in a driveway.

Williams allegedly got into an altercation with his boyfriend Charles Johnson and Love. Williams then struck the victim with a golf club and the club broke on impact. The suspect then stabbed love with the golf club. 

Waco ISD Superintendent Dr. Bonny Cain said their thoughts and prayers go out to Love and his family after this senseless tragedy.

“District leaders ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers,” Cain said.

The school district will release details on funeral plans when they become available.
