Bruceville-Eddy PD asks for public help to find thief

EDDY - The Bruceville-Eddy Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a person of interest in a burglary of a motor vehicle that occurred in Eddy and subsequent credit card abuse that occurred as a direct result of items taken during that burglary July 10.

The woman depicted in the photo below is the person of interest in the burglary.

The victim, Ashley Cureton, reached out to Channel 6 in hopes of getting her personal items returned to her.

Among the stolen items were, but not limited to: a white leather bound planner with gold lettering, a Michael Kors wallet, an Apple Watch, Michael Kors sunglasses, etc. Cureton told Channel 6 her planner is what means most to her and is the item of most importance.

"I'm more upset about my planner missing than anything," Cureton said. "My entire life is in there. I'm a probation officer, so even my badge is in there, too."

According to Cureton, her credit card was used in Temple, Belton, and Killeen.

Bruceville-Eddy Police Department posted to Facebook asking for the public's help in identifying the thief.

If you know who this person is please contact the Bruceville-Eddy Police Department at (254)859-5072. Any tips can be made anonymously.
