Copperas Cove police searching for credit union robbery suspect

COPPERAS COVE - Copperas Cove police are looking for a suspect that robbed a credit union Tuesday afternoon in the 800 block of South Main Street.

Officers responded to a report of a robber about 4:51 p.m. at the Texas Partners Credit Union Bank.

Officials said police learned the suspect entered the bank and approached the front counter.

The suspected then jumped over the counter and demanded money from the teller.

He is described as a black man, early to mid-20s, approximately 6’0” with a slender build. He was also wearing a blue jacket and khaki pants.

The suspect was last seen exiting the bank through the front door with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
