Deadly collision takes the life of motorcylist

The name of a the motorcyclist killed in Waco has been identified.

WACO - Waco police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash Saturday morning as 42-year-old, Walter Hailey Sudduth of Waco.

 

The crash happened in the 200 block of N. New Road. 

 

Officials said the 2006 Honda motorcycle was traveling north on New road at a high rate of speed. Several witnesses described the vehicle as driving fast and reckless - pulling wheelies several times before the crash occurred.

 

The motorcycle struck a 2001 Pontiac van exiting a Lowes parking lot causing Sudduth to be ejected from the bike severely injuring him.

 

Sudduth was taken to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest where he was later pronounced dead. 

 

The investigation is ongoing.
