This Saturday is Spring Day at World Hunger Relief's farm to celebrate all things farming and all things fun.
The day aims to educate people on farming and entertain them. Hay rides, music and a lunch will be offered. A goat milking demonstration will also take place. And, best of all, everything except the lunch, is free to enjoy.
As much as the farm promotes fun and interaction, World Hunger Relief trains people on sustainable agriculture and community development for a year before they take those skills and use them to help others -- usually in developing countries.
The partner farms that receive the farm's consulting services on sustainable living include World Hunger Relief Haiti, Valle Nuevo El Salvador and Rick's Institute Liberia.
Spring Day at the farm begins at 10:00 a.m. and goes until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. You can find all the details here.
