FLOOD ADVISORY UNTIL 3:15PM

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
Northwestern Freestone County in central Texas...
Southeastern Hill County in central Texas...
Northern Limestone County in central Texas...
Navarro County in north central Texas...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 1050 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were
producing heavy rainfall across parts of Freestone, Hill,
Limestone and Navarro counties. Excessive runoff from these
thunderstorms will cause minor flooding. Areas that are low lying
or usually experience poor drainage are most likely to experience
flooding. This means some low water crossings in the region may
  become impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Corsicana, Mexia, Groesbeck, Mart, Kerens, Hubbard, Wortham,
Coolidge, Trinidad, Blooming Grove, Dawson, Angus, Barry, Navarro,
Fort Parker State Park, Rice, Frost, Retreat, Oak Valley and
  Mildred.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
