TEMPLE- For this weeks Healthy Habits, our Heidi Alagha went to Luna Juice Bar to learned to make healthy juices with little ingredients with owner, Summer Shine. Many of the items used were simple fruits and vegetables you probably have at home.
The first juice she made was a citrus blend. This is a great juice for flu season. It consists of: oranges, grapefruit, lemon and lime.
The second juice is the kale drink. This simple juice made with carrots and kale is great for detoxification. Carrots are also great for your eye sight.
The third juice is the beet juice. The juice has beets, apple, and ginger. This juice is great for the heart.
All of the juices are under 200 calories for a 16 oz serving.
