KILLEEN - An online crime mapping resource formerly known as Raids Online has returned.
According to Killeen Police, the service, now called Community Crime Map allows the department to share crime data online with the public.
The service is back online after being unavailable during a major records management system upgrade and data migration.
Community Crime Map goes beyond crime mapping by allowing the public to sign up for alerts regarding recent crime activity and it is a free to the public.
The map is updated daily and contains crime data for Killeen back to 2010. Some information such as certain victims will not be displayed due to state law. KPD encourages the public to use this tool to become better informed regarding crime in the community.
