Nearly $3 Million worth of marijuana plants found in Robertson County

ROBERTSON COUNTY - The Robertson County Sheriff’s office has seized 5,900 plants worth nearly $3 million dollars.

The grow field was discovered on Tuesday September 13th in the North East part of Robertson County.

On Thursday September 15th law enforcement determined the field had about 5,900 plants.

A watering system that consisted of a generator, pump, and hoses were uncovered by authorities.

Investigators also located what appeared to be a camp in which the individuals growing the marijuana lived, but no one was there.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department, the McLennan County Sheriff’s Department, The Leon County Sheriff’s Department, the Texas Game Wardens and Agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division.
