Oncor: Storms knock out power to Thousands in Central Texas

CENTRAL TEXAS - UPDATE (11:00 a.m.): More than 2,300 Oncor customers lost power Sunday morning.  The vast majority were in the Temple and Belton areas.  According to Oncor's website they estimated power would be restored by 10 p.m.

UPDATE (10:00 a.m.): Nearly 1,400 Oncor customers were without power -- mostly in the Waco area. Oncor estimated many would have power restored by 1 p.m., while others in Bell and Coryell Counties had no immediate estimate.

More than 300 Oncor customers were without power Sunday morning, as storms moved through Central Texas.

Customers were impacted in Coryell, Bell, Falls and McLennan Counties. But, power was expected to be restored quickly -- with most customers getting it back by 10:30 a.m.
