HARKER HEIGHTS - More than 400 people took to the streets to show support for victims of suicide and raise awareness for suicide prevention.
The Second Annual Greater Fort Hood Out of the Darkness Community Walk was Saturday at the Harker Heights Community Park.
The proceeds from the event will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
"We've got a great turnout today," Janet Sutton, who lost her son to suicide, said. "I'm really appreciative of everyone who has come out to support the cause and help raise funds for AFSP."
Almost $20 thousand have been raised so far.
