In what's considered to be the NFL of drum corps, the Madison Scouts from Wisconsin will duke it out in Belton for honors and championship points at the Drum Corps International event. It'll be a culmination of hard work, rhythm and sweat that will get the winning team over the line.
The team rehearses about 12 hours a day and travel over night to a new location, wake up, and start the process again.
The teams consist of 150 performers and are from all over the world. Madison Scouts Executive Director said he thinks the arena in Belton is one of the best and can't wait to take on the 11 other teams competing.
The event starts at 6 p.m. at Crusader Stadium at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
