TEMPLE - HK Dodgen Loop is back open after being shut down for nearly three hours. The call about the incident was placed 3:50 p.m., and traffic was cleared by 7 p.m.
A tractor trailer got caught on barriers on the HK Dodgen Loop near the 5th street overpass.
The driver's permit was supposed to take him through Belton to State Highway 95, then back to Interstate 35. TxDOT needed to be called to get a crew to the construction zone on HK Dodgen Loop to move the barriers and remove the truck.

Traffic was diverted at 5th street and directed south toward Blackland Road so drivers could continue traveling east.
The truck driver was issued a ticket for being over width for the route.
No one was hurt and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
