GATESVILLE - A man indicted in the deadly 2015  Twin Peaks shooting was killed after a high-speed chase Friday in the intersection of East Main Street and Lovers Lane.

Police said 29-year-old Trey Alston Short was traveling eastbound at an extremely high rate of speed on a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 1000 block of West Main Street.  An officer attempted to stop the motorcycle. However, the driver sped up in an attempt to elude him.
