Waco police identify victims of shooting

Two men are in the hospital after a shooting in Waco.

WACO - Waco police have identified the victims who were shot Monday morning at the 10th and Colcord.

One victim was 28-year-old Patrick Lee Miles of Waco received a gunshot wound to the stomach, officials said. 

A second victim, 29-year-old Jeremy Dwayne James of Waco showed up with a gunshot wound to the ankle at the hospital admitting to being on the scene. 

Miles underwent emergency surgery for his wound and James was treated in the E.R. 

The investigation is ongoing and neither of the victims were forthcoming with pertinent information to assist with the case.
