Wigs for Kids working with community hair donors

TEMPLE -- Wigs for Kids has been working for 30 years to provide hair replacement systems for children who have lost their hair to cancer, injury, or disease. They help more than 125 kids annually  but need more donors. It takes more that 20 hair donations and around $1,800 to make one hair replacement.

If you would like to donate hair go to the Wigs for Kids Website to find out how.

Donations must be at least 12 inches in length and cannot previously be dyed or subjected to other chemicals.

Many salons will also offer you a free haircut if you make an appointment to donate hair.  To find one near you go to this webpage.
