(KCEN) -- A lockdown has been lifted after Meadows Elementary School on Fort Hood received an external safety threat on Thursday.
At 10:07 a.m., Meadows Elementary School was notified of a potential external safety threat.
The lockdown was lifted after safety officials investigated the area. They concluded that there was no threat to public safety.
All operations at Meadows Elementary have resumed.
Officials have not yet disclosed the threat or the circumstances surrounding the lockdown.
