(KCEN) -- A man that claimed he was going to take his life in front of his child at a Bush's Chicken in China Spring was indicted on Wednesday.
Christopher Donaldson was indicted on five counts, including one aggravated kidnapping and three counts of assault against a public servant.
In April, Donaldson not only threatened to take his life in front of his child, but also took a woman hostage.
When the incident happened, he had been recently released on bail with several outstanding arrest warrants.
On that day, the sheriff's office got a call that he was on his way to Bosqueville Elementary where he threatened to take his life in front of his child. The school was immediately put on shutdown and officers were out looking for the suicidal suspect.
They found his SUV in a field and a neighbor said they went to Bush's Chicken.
When officers arrived to the restaurant, Donaldson had with a gun pointed to a woman's head. He used her as a shield, saying that he wasn't going back to prison.
After a short scuffle with the McLennan County Sheriff, he was detained and arrested.
