Military Museum: Come blow things up as a family!

Doug Currin reports.

UVALDE, TX - With summertime right around the corner, families will be spending some quality time together – and what better way to do it then blowing things up?
Channel Six went to Uvalde, TX where is housed on an 18,000-acre ranch.
There you can drive, ride in and fire tanks, shoot high power guns, and even stay the night in the barracks on the property.
Kevin Theodora and his family traveled from Manhattan Beach, California to experience it all, including the tanks, mortars, and flamethrower.
Kevin’s son, KJ is flat out honest when asked what he wants to do today saying, “I want to blow stuff up.”
Not only is this a place to have fun and drive a tank over a car, but it’s a living museum of sorts.  The pieces are from WWII and Vietnam, and other wars as well.
The Theodora family is taking it all in, the explosive nature of a tank, the intensity of a flamethrower, but know this is all history.
As vacation season approaches, this place creates a modern-day war zone.  And for many, it’s right on target.
