NASA Workers Protest Shutdown in Houston

(KCEN) --- NASA workers, furloughed by a shutdown are saying enough is enough.

Employees gathered outside the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston to protest congress' inaction.

One worker says she's frustrated because the shutdown has left her unable to meet her family's needs.

"We have no way to pay our mortgages, we have no way to pay for our bills, our electricity, our food. I just want to work. You know, I have dedicated my life to serving my country," says Elizabeth LeBlanc.
