Search underway for missing 8 year old in Southeast Arlington

ARLINGTON - Arlington Police are seeking the public's help in locating an eight year old child who hasn't been since entering a wooded area near Williams Elementary around noon Friday.

The principal recognized the child outside of the school and notified law enforcement and the child’s parent, but he disappeared before officers could speak to him.

The family is reporting that it’s possible the child may have attempted to run away from home. Due to the circumstances and age of the child, the department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.

Trey Ossenkop was last seen wearing a blue or black shirt and blue jeans. He’s described as being 5’05” tall and weighs approximately 70 pounds.

There is an active search underway in Southeast Arlington by officers and citizens on patrol volunteers. Officers ask anyone with any information about the missing child to call 911.
