(KCEN) -- Despite the government shutdown, those who filed a tax extension must pay their taxes by tomorrow.
October 15 is the filing deadline for more than 12 million individuals who in April requested a six-month extension on their 2012 taxes.
The agency said that many of them have yet to file their taxes for last year.
If you are expecting some money back, you will likely have to wait until the government reopens.
Over 90 percent of agency's staff is on government-wide furlough.
