Baylor Football's Texas Contest Scheduled For 2:30 p.m. Kick

WACO, TEXAS - Baylor football's Big 12 Conference road game at Texas on Oct. 29 will be played at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, the league office announced Monday.

The television network for the contest will be decided once games on Oct. 22 are completed.

BU is off to a 6-0 start to the season and will enjoy its second off week of 2016 Saturday, before heading to the state’s capitol the next weekend. The Bears are also 3-0 in Big 12 play.

Texas is 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in Big 12 play. Prior to hosting the Bears, the Longhorns will travel to face Kansas State Saturday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.

Baylor tallied a 28-7 victory over Texas in Austin two years ago, but lost 23-17 to UT last season. The Longhorns lead the all-time series 75-26-4, but the Bears have won four of the last six meetings.
