WACO, Texas – Baylor football's final non-conference game of the year vs. Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 21 will be played at 3 p.m. CT and will be televised live nationally on FOX Sports 1, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.
After wins over Wofford (69-3) and Buffalo (70-13) to open the year, Baylor is ranked No. 22 in both the latest AP and USA TODAY Coaches Top 25 polls. BU will have an off week in advance of the game vs. ULM, but currently leads the country in total offense (736.5 ypg) and is second in scoring offense (69.5 ppg).
It will be the Bears' 20th straight game to be broadcast on national TV and the third this season on the FOX family of networks (previous two on FOX Sports Southwest).
Louisiana-Monroe is 1-1 on the season and will travel to play Wake Forest on Saturday, before making the trip to Waco the following weekend.
The Bears and Warhawks met last season with BU earning a 47-42 victory in Monroe, La., on Sept. 21. That was the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
The game is also designated as Baylor's Family Weekend.
